Member of Woodturners Guild of NC since 2001. Did wood turning forty years ago and returning to the interest as a satisfying hobby. Have Studied with Bill Wallace and Roger Austin at NCSU, Dick Sing at the Campbell School, Christian Burchard at Arrowmont, Bjorn Berger, Al Stirt and Trent Bosch at guild workshops. Have attended the NC Woodturning Symposium at Statesville in 2001, 2003 and 2005. Won first, second and third prizes in different classes at the 2004 NC Woodturners Competition at Hickory in November 2004.
Participate in NCSU Crafts fair each November.
