Sharpening Angle Protractor (13.2 Kbytes) hot! 2005-02-15
Angle Jig In Use This is a great little printable jig that helps tremendously when trying to get a particular sharpening angle on your tools. I found a similar one on the web several years ago and have been using it since. I wasn't able to find it out there so I drew this one from my worn copy.

Simply print it, cut the two pieces out, and attache the pointer to the top of the protractor. I used a very small brass grommet centered on the X's. To make it more durable you can laminate the pieces before you cut them out or print on heavier card stock.

Cheap. Easy.
