The Woodturners Guild of North Carolina has a membership of
approximately 80 members from the Greater Triangle area, from all walks
of life that enjoy woodturning as a profession or hobby. The purpose of
the organization is to promote woodturning education of the membership
and the general public and to generate a broader understanding of
woodturning as an art form. The chapter provides a meeting place for
members and guests to share ideas and techniques on woodturning, and
display their work to their fellow members, and to encourage membership
in, and give support to, the American Association of WoodTurners.
Monthly meetings are held at the North Carolina State University Craft
Center. |
