How do I upload my own pictures? |

The WGNC web site allows it's members to upload media, documents, links, and news directly to the web site. Images can be uploaded in two places: each members profile can have an image associated with it, and each member can have one or more galleries to upload any number of images to. Profile Pictures
- Logon
- Click the Your Profile link in the user menu
- Click the Update Your Image link
- Follow the directions on the screen
Gallery Images
If you want to upload gallery images you will need to create a personal gallery. We allow all members to have a personal gallery which they can upload their own images to, but they are not created by default. To create a gallery, follow these directions.
Logon Click the Upload Media link in the user menu Click the Gallery Manager icon Click the New Gallery icon Complete the form to describe your gallery Insert After: Member Galleries Name Gallery: John Doe Password: (leave blank, unless you want a private gallery) Keyword: (generally leave blank, unless you want to define custom keywords) Description: John Doe's Personal Gallery Published: Checked Share this gallery: Unchecked (generally leave unchecked, Checking this box will allow all users to edit your gallery)
Click the Member Tab Choose >>Public Access<< unless you only want certain members to see your gallery. Click the save Icon
Now you're ready to upload images to your gallery
Logon Click the Upload Media link in the user menu Click the Upload Files icon Click the link representing how you want to upload your files single (ZIP)file - Use this to upload a single image or a single ZIP file containing multiple images from your local pc. Multiple Files - Use this option to upload many images or ZIP files from your local pc. Drag and Drop - Use this option to drag images from your pc onto the web page. Scan Directory - Use this option to scan directories on the web server. Follow the directions on the screen for which ever option you choose.
